The Group is located at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Most of its projects are based in the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Music Media and Technology (CIRMMT) of the Faculty of Music. The group's main focus is continuing development of the McGill Ultra-Videoconferencing System for high-bandwidth, high-quality, and low-latency videoconference interaction. Members of this group (working under Dr. John Roston) are collaborationg with NEPTUNE Canada is developing and implementing web services software, user interface, video recording system and event detection software to be used for the underwater HD video component of our Oceans 2.0 project.
